Sutter Energy Center

The Sutter Energy Center is a highly efficient, natural gas-fired, combined-cycle facility with advanced emissions control technologies located in Yuba City, California.  The plant consists of two combustion turbine generators, two heat recovery steam generators with duct burners and a single condensing steam turbine generator.  

The Sutter plant reduces demand for California water resources by utilizing air cooling technologies.  Sutter is also a zero liquid discharge plant, further reducing its impact on the environment.
