Calpine Steps up Assistance for Texans Impacted by Hurricane Beryl

(HOUSTON, Texas) – July 17, 2024 – Calpine Corporation today announced a contribution of $500,000 to help Texas residents impacted by Hurricane Beryl. This donation includes $250,000 for the Hurricane Beryl Recovery Fund and $150,000 for greater Houston area organizations.

In addition to these donations, we are providing $100,000 in assistance for Champion Energy customers, Calpine’s retail arm. Calpine is also supporting employees through special emergency support programs including assistance through the Calpine Employee Relief Fund.
